This is one great dealer who goes out of the way to help any customer. He sells the RIA Tactical for $430 and the GI Model for $369. Prices on all other guns he carries in stock are very good. His in stock inventory is very extensive. If he doesn’t have in stock what you are in the market for I’d be surprised! No matter where you live in the USA he can get the gun you want and ship it to you in a timely manner.

I am interested in a 1911. I am looking at the Taurus and the RIA. Both are affordable. Which is the better pistol? Which do you prefer of the two?

That’s a tough one. It would be between the RIA Tactical and the Taurus. I would go for the Taurus simply because it has a few more features. They are equal as far as accuracy but again the Taurus has the Heinie sights as well as the 30 LPI on the front strap. Cott has a stainless Taurus I saw two days ago at $595 which is about $70 less than most I’ve seen lately. That would be my choice at that price.
Let me know what you do. I’d be curious about how you like the gun you do choose.

i do agree with cotts being the place to buy a firearm. i have bought many guns from them and evrty time i go in to look i get treated like a real person(a friend would be a better word) and not just a customer. he is willing to work with anybody and will do his best to make u happy. if he dont have what u want in stock he can get it for u.

I agree 100% you do feel more like a friend than just a customer off the street. They have always treated me very well and Shawn has gone out of his way to order whatever I’ve wanted. He’s a heck of a good guy! The prices are darn good to!
